Shiny!
In Baby Room 1, we have been exploring texture and movement. We have set up baskets with bangles, beads, ribbons, and shiny pebbles.
The children have been rolling and spinning the bangles and pebbles, and moving the beads along the floor, observing how they move.
They have also been using their whole body to investigate the sensory baskets. They have been threading the bangles onto their hands and feet and draping the beads and ribbons across their shoulders.
They have been dancing with the ribbons and some have asked for them to be tied on their head.
We introduced some bubble wrap which they explored with their hands, feet and mouth.
