Outside Provision

We have been engaging in scientific enquiry.
Being curious, “looking out for” and noticing interesting things.
- Explore
- Examine
- Observe
- Wonder
- Find out
Using all of our senses to explore “sight, smell, touch, taste, sound” as we help make crackling fires in the garden – using ingredients to mix up banana pancakes to cook on the hot flames. Yum!
Collecting leaves in the garden to create our leaf crowns – noticing the different shapes, colours and sizes of the leaves.
Igniting conversations about changes in the weather
Have you seen our floor book, which documents all our learning!?

The children have enjoyed our core story this term.
Retelling the story in different areas of the environment…

Igniting Provocations

Ramps
- Push

Giving children opportunities to repeat, rehearse and revisit ramps inside and outside.
Collaborating together, building relationships, and planning.
