In the POD we aim to support each child’s individual and diverse motivations, interests and needs.
We help them become immersed in, wallow in, to rehearse and revisit diverse forms of active play indoors and outdoors.
In the POD we offer opportunities for much higher levels of predictable routines, social interactions and opportunities to develop communication and language skills.
In the POD we help each child feel known, understood, cared about and safe.
And this enriched offer gives children opportunities to build skills and experience all of the curriculum from their unique, personal starting points.

Our St. Paul’s Promise I know my own uniqueness and embrace diversity means that children have been learning to explore and respond to all sorts of different experiences in the POD and across the Nursery.
They can see their interests, their identities, themselves reflected back at them through resources and provision, small group time experiences, objects of interest and fascination, photographs of themselves and their families.
