Emotion Coaching – the Basics – for Parents and Carers
Following up on from Introduction to Emotion Coaching, Lucy has recorded a short video explaining the Basics of Emotional Coaching for Parents and Carers.
At Nursery, we use Emotion Coaching as a strategy to assist young children in mastering self-regulation and fostering a sense of security and self-assurance.
This approach involves addressing children’s intense emotional reactions, which may manifest as difficult behaviours, while understanding that these behaviours are a form of communication.
Reply to Reception Primary School Offer
For children going to Primary School in September 2024, you should have now received your offer of a reception primary school. You must replay by 30th April 2024 when receiving an offer.

Have you seen our Core Books – We are learning to read guidance? It’s full of information about how we help children learn to read, be inspired and inspiring storytellers and share in their love of books!
We are ‘growing’ our collection of books, buying lots and lots of Core Books but are gladly accepting book donations of authors like Julia Donaldson, Eric Carle, Emily Gravett, Trish Cooke, Nick Sharratt.
