Celebrations – How Does Your Family Celebrate Together?

On our home visits to you, we have been asking all about your child and your family haven’t we?

What is important to your family – your faith, culture, home language, family get-togethers, celebrations?

If there is a celebration coming up for your family, your community, please come and tell us all about it.

Please talk to your child’s keyperson.

Message from NHS – Flu Vaccine

Flu spreads more easily among children in winter because we all spend more time indoors with others.

Children are more likely to catch winter viruses like flu, which can spread to other family members, such as grandparents.

Flu tends to spread first in children, so vaccinating children as early as possible helps to protect them and other vulnerable family members such as grandparents and newborn babies.

Children under the age of 5 years have one of the highest rates of hospital admissions due to flu.

Most children have the nasal spray vaccine – available from your GP surgery or a pharmacy that offers NHS children’s flu vaccination.

Book an appointment through the NHS App, 119, or your pharmacy or GP.
