As you will know we are predicted to have scorching weather from next Monday onwards
With this in mind, please can we ask you to consider keeping your child at home on Monday and Tuesday, as your house may be cooler!
We will be open as usual, but we work in a flat-roofed building with poor insulation and ventilation, and the nursery rooms get VERY hot.
We usually stay outside under the trees in very hot weather, but with such high temperatures outside too, there will be no way of escaping the heat anywhere at nursery.
The Family Picnics that we had planned for next Tuesday and Thursday will now take place first thing in the morning when it’s much cooler. We invite you to bring your own Picnic Breakfast from 8:30 to 9:30 on Tuesday and Thursday. On Tuesday we ask you to consider taking your child home with you after the picnic due to the red weather warning that has been issued.
