WELCOME to all our NEW children and families – Friday 6th February 2026

Thank you again for choosing St Pauls Nursery School and Children’s Centre, we are delighted to be welcoming your child into nursery this coming January.

We are holding another “Welcome Meeting” on Friday 6th February 1:30pm in our Community Room. You can meet Robin (Associate Head) and find our more about Nursery Life – all the things we do to help your child learn and thrive here.

Colds, Bugs and Sickness

There’s a lot of sickness going around isn’t there! You may have noticed a number of staff off this week. Eva has sent all of you a message from Public Health England about winter illnesses – flu and norovirus.

Key advice is that children should not attend if they have a temperature. Please do keep children at home if they are not well. We recognise the tricky balance of family life it’s super important we all stay well and keep the service running.

Best Start in Life – Family Survey – Can you complete it?

Bristol will have a new Best Start in Life Plan from 1 April 2026.

This plan is about making sure every baby, child, and family gets the right support from pregnancy to age five. 

Family Hubs, midwives, health visitors, speech and language teams, nurseries, schools, libraries and community groups will all work more closely together so families can find information and help more easily. 

We want to hear from you so we can shape this plan together. Our early idea for our shared vision is: “Partners taking steps together so families belong and thrive.”
