Enabling Environments – National Teaching Schools

A recent article, published in Nursery World, focusses on the Bristol Early Years Teaching Consortium, the consortium that comprises of us (St Pauls Nursery School and Children’s Centre) and Redcliffe Nursery School and Children’s Centre, both awarded National Teaching School (NTS) status. Staff Changes

Some of our lovely Nursery staff will be moving on this Easter. Jo Prideaux, an Early years Practitioner in the Nursery School retuned to work in January after having her first child Anna. After much consideration Jo has now decided to leave St Pauls to be a full time mum for Anna while she is so little. Jo is very committed to our setting – she had been a brilliant, energetic and organised staff member. News from Rich, our Artist in Residence

Lucy, a parent in our Nursery School has been talking about creativity with us and is interested in the work that I do in the nursery school. Lucy teaches experimental drawing at the Art College, we have now made an exciting plan to bring our young learners and her students together to explore drawing and mark making in our studio area.
