Some of our lovely Nursery staff will be moving on this Easter.
Jo Prideaux, an Early years Practitioner in the Nursery School retuned to work in January after having her first child Anna. After much consideration Jo has now decided to leave St Pauls to be a full time mum for Anna while she is so little. Jo is very committed to our setting – she had been a brilliant, energetic and organised staff member. Jo has lead on first aid and been one of our champions for Forest Experience, she has also worked tirelessly as a staff Governor – a role which we are hoping she will keep. Please join us in saying a HUGE thankyou to Jo for all she had done at St Pauls. I know that Jo is sad to leave us and that she thinks she might be back in a few years – so watch this space!
Jo’s role will be covered by Ali Sage, a very experienced Early Years Practitioner who will join our team until the summer holidays, please help us to give her a wonderful St Pauls welcome!
We are also saying goodbye to Segal Omar, our Somali support worker in Nursery School as she returns to her huge extended family is Somalia. Segal has been with us through some tricky times – when the building work was being completed and we were swamped in mud! Through all of this she has been a vision of calm! We thank Segal for all she has shared with St Pauls and wish her bon voyage, luck and love for her return to her homeland – we know her family are desperate to see her!
Our very own experienced Nasrin Dahir, will now be re-joining the Nursery School full time as Somali Support to cover Segals role.
